Though, from reading that, I'm not sure if it would have changed to off and need to be re-enabled, or whether that's just new accounts. Looks like it will prompt to enable in Europe/Japan, but automatically enabled elsewhere. https://support.google.com/a/answer/10095404 so yes, it can be controlled by the admin as well. The user's gmail settings screen, there are more specific settings to control various specific smart features. The terms of service and privacy policies are also different between consumer and Workspace, which also affects how the smart stuff works. Brandon
