I wonder if it would be possible to implement a conditional rejection that matches details of the problematic message.

I would also wonder if it requires a real time rejection during the SMTP transaction with Google, or if a correctly formatted DSN would convey the necessary information. -- I would expect that it wouldn't be too much trouble to fabricate such a DSN for this white hat purpose.
