According to the stuff I read, sendmail and Postfix (and more) are
affected, for sendmail a patched version exists and the behavior can be
controlled in accessdb for specific hosts if needed.
A tool to check vulnerability is trivial if you already have an SMTP client.
However, they are delaying the publication of their tool "maybe already at the
37C3 conference", which is to be held on 27-30 December 2023.
