I made sure our template included the unsubscribe in the correct spot. I also 
made sure that it was the same font size as the rest of the message so that it 
is not hidden. I have seen many templates where the unsubscribe and other areas 
are way smaller than the rest of the email.

I don’t see this option working. If it is not a dedicated button in the mailing 
system, then many users won’t use it. If you rely on the mail sender to add it 
as a link in the body of the message, then they will try to hide it as best 
they can.
