Thanks Michael, very useful response and you're correct, that expanded value of 2.a.0.d.7.c.4.0.3.0.0.0.0.3.d.9.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.2 is how it would queried and indeed does respond correctly - which puts my mind to rest. Initially I was thinking we'd tried to utilise a colon somewhere in the zone - which this clarifies would not be the case.
(and of course I have internal engineers on a deeper hunt since they don't give me keys to the kingdom) Chris.
