Ruben, it was a highly loaded ADSL line, probably around the 1Mbps figure. So still broadband, but quite slow. Often times residential ADSL takes a hit in the evening, when people are home dowloading their torrents... :-D
This is where my inlaws live, in the countryside in Umbria, central Italy.
