Hi Jim, I believe it's triggered by some frameworks like Core Animation. It looks like Flash triggers it for some reason.
Maybe you have disabled all Flash features in Gmail? *The attachment uploader w/ the progress bar.* **You can disable it in* Gmail > Settings > General*. Just change "*Advanced attachment feature" to "Basic attachment feature*") *Chat sound notifications* You can disable in *Gmail > Settings > Chat > Sounds * *Voice and video chat:* If you have enabled the Google Talk plugin it'll load a flash movie in your *Gmail > Settings > Chat > Voice and video > Verify your settings* chat and when you initiate a chat. To disable: Uninstall the Google Talk plugin *Google Talk Window:* It's based on the Google Talk Gadget, which is implemented in Flash.
