I know this will sound really strange, but after upgrading yesterday Safari to the latest 5.0.1 and some trackpad update, I am not able to move the cursor inside mailplane anymore. I am not sure these are connected or not, but I thought I should mention them as the only changes that happened on my machine since I've noticed this issue.
