I am trying to use mairix in a shell account on a "shared hosting"
machine with many other users. Building indices gets killed after
about thirty seconds of activity, followed by a message in the shell
saying, in effect, "YIkes you were using so much memory we had to kill
your process."

I tried using the -F and -Q switches, but to no avail; same result.

Any hints? I build mairix from source on this machine so build-time
hints gladly implemented.

I wonder too: are there any commands or args I could set in the shell
when executing mairix?

...hope this isn't a FAQ...

No no no, my fish's name is Eric, Eric the fish. He's an halibut. I am
not a looney! Why should I be tarred with the epithet looney merely
because I have a pet halibut?
