The 2010 Colony Cup hosted by the W&M Sailing Team!!

Races were sailed on Saturday under partly cloudy skies, with a westerly
breeze of 5-10mph. An increase in current made the last few races of the day
interesting. In all, sixteen races were sailed, with no protests and one
redress granted to CNU for an breakdown in the first race.

Sunday began with light breezes from the north, which increased to a steady
7-8mph with an occasional gust into the teens. Big shifts and flat water
made for great races! One protest was heard, resulting in a DSQ for CNU.

Congrats to Hampton University for winning the 2010 Colony Cup and thanks to
all of the teams for coming!!

(No.....no shows!!!)

Special thanks to the whole W&M Sailing Team for their hard work & support,
and to First Colony for letting us host this event at such a wonderful
venue.

One final note: If anyone who attended the regatta mistakenly picked up a
small North Sails bag, please let me know. It contained all of the chargers
for our radios!!!!
