As close to perfect a day as could be had. 12 Races in southerly breezes from 8-15 knots. All courses were a "W-TF" a two fleet adaptation on the W-4 (windward/two-fleet) with a separate starting and finish line. One protest with heard by Raoul Magana and Guy Barbato resulting in one dsq. Justin Law did a brilliant job as PRO and Leah Anderson Magana took video from the finish boat to ensure accuracy on the tight downwind finishes. A division started in FJ's and B in 420's switching fleets after 9 races.
The Old Dominion University Monarchs roared to an early lead and should have strong Northwesterly winds to defend it on Sunday.
