I've only worked with MGOS on an 64 bit machine, but in that case, all 32
bit programs are installed under the Program Files (x86) folder rather than
Program Files. Are you sure that isn't where you should be copying the
files to instead?

Subject: [mapguide-users] Coords files on 64 bit machine

We need the BC Albers coordinate system in our MapGuide dictionary. With the
current MGE I am able to change the coordsys.CSD and category.CSD files as
this posting suggests:

http://discussion.autodesk.com/thread.jspa?threadID=514332

.by copying them to the

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Gis\CoordSys\11e

folder. At that point, BC Albers shows up in Studio under Canada Provinces.

However, this does not work with MGE 2008, possibly because we have a 64 bit
machine. Looking at the registry settings, I can see that the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Autodesk -> GIS ->Coorsys
->11g keys map correctly to the Category.CSD and Coordsys.CSD files.
However, BC Albers does not show up in Studio.

Has anyone had this experience on a 64 bit machine? Any solutions?

Thanks
