Hi,

We are using GeoREST together with MapGuide and OpenLayers for feature
editing. It is all open source and can be reused. It is not that well
documented, still we are using it in production.

Very raw sample of usage is here:
http://www.sl-king.com/GeoRestMapSample/example1/rview.html
It is sheboygan data. You can zoom in and edit buildings, both
graphics and attributes.
User edits goes from browser with OpenLayers trough HTTP to GeoREST
and MapGuide where edits are executed.

Hm, If there would be interest of others we may put together
javascript samples and more documentation.
