Dear Cassandra, As far as I know Cognos Visualiser uses MapX for displaying maps. In which case the .gst file is a metafile holding info on the MapInfo maps available for MapX. MapInfo 5.5 has a MapBasic tool for managing geosets (I think its already in 5.0 but I'm not sure). To my knowledge it's not enough to simply send a new .gst file as the MapInfo files referenced in this file should be included. MapX comes with a geoset manager which is likely to be available to your client... Kind regards, Ton Brouwer PS : You really should offer your client a nice MapXtreme intranet GIS application to unleash the real powers of MapX. -----Original Message----- From: Cassandra Dunstall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tuesday, December 07, 1999 21:55 Subject: MI: Cognos Visualizer... >I believe there was some discussion on Visualizer a few weeks ago, but I >can't seem to find it in the archives.
