Yes, I found this possibility. I just don't want to fix the workspace for missing
layers "by hand" or forceps if I have hundreds of layers to replace. Besides, I was
hopping for something new on this matter. Like an "workspace application interface"
that would load an workspace template and would update the final one much more easily.
We should develop one though. I also was pushing for MI Corp to address this question
with a better interface design.

I will take a look on the link you suggested.

Thanks for you participation.

I am coming late on this one because it has been a well talked about issue and I
thought I had nothing new to add. Then I found strange that in the summary nothing was
said about the INTERACTIVE key word option available with the OPEN TABLE statement. If
it is present, when trying to open a table but not finding it MI will ask the user to
relocate it. Of course if the table has been deleted, one must go back to the editing
of the wor file.

Why Dyan did not encountered that possibility? I thought that MI was
automatically adding it to its workspaces. I checked, and true, it was there
but only for the tables not in the same directory as the workspace itself.
If tables were moved from the original (the wor) directory, that
INTERACTIVity is lost.

Why, oh MI!!, do you do such a thing?

But you always have the workscape control tool available at

http://www.4thbeachsoftware.com/Products/products.htm

If you do a lot of wor generating and juggling, this investment may save you
lots of time and aggravations.
