Hi Vin,

It's a problem I've seen with fast graphics adapters. It's a compatability
problem I think.
The graphics adapter somehow interferes with MapInfo's screen optimizing
function.

We usually make the work-around by entering the below registry key that'll
prevent
MapInfo Pro from doing any screen optimizations:

\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\MapInfo\MapInfo\Common\OffScreenBitmap = "0"

Subject: MI Screen problems - Map fragmenting on screen

My new Gateway PC has got a 21" monitor (VX1120).
When working with MapInfo (V6) the map fragments all over the place when
using the pan tool.
I have twiddled with the display settings but to no avail.
I think I need to twiddle with something in MapInfo.
Can anyone help?

Thanks
Vin Doyle
