I had the same problem and the guilt was the video card, I had to redraw the screen
all the time. I was using a Matrox Millennium AGP card. I have an ATI card and no
problems.

My new Gateway PC has got a 21" monitor (VX1120).
When working with MapInfo (V6) the map fragments all over the place when
using the pan tool.
I have twiddled with the display settings but to no avail.
I think I need to twiddle with something in MapInfo.
Can anyone help?
