"In addition, we've even been able to introduce an internet-enabled version
of MapInfo Professional at a 15% higher price, without encountering any
resistance from the market."

Hmmm. This must be another product. I don't know that I would call the
ability to make web links or an HTML map "internet-enabled." Oh, and we must
be _far_ too quiet about prices, upgrade costs and lack of features
(especially REQUESTED features), for MapInfo to say that they can continue
to raise prices without encountering resistance.

Maybe we need some user representation on their Technical Advisory Board
(TAB)? Wait -- * I * was on the TAB, but then was not invited, nor allowed,
to the last board meeting as I was not a MapInfo Partner. Okay, so George
Moon himself appointed me to the TAB, but I guess that was easily revocable.
And who represents the users on the new Product Review Board also mentioned
in the conference call?

Having a few MapInfo Pro licenses just does not seem to register to MI
management anymore. With all the attention on the fewer big-dollar accounts
MapInfo is pursuing, all us "little people" seem to get lost in the shuffle.

We need to find a way to make our voices heard.
