Hi guys

We have often found that the "Save window as" option in MapInfo can produce
images of varying quality. Sometimes, they are in the exact format as
created, sometimes areas of land will be coloured in blue (!) and very
often, the halo effect is missing.

We have worked around this problem by printing to a pdf file using Adobe
Distiller. Loading this file in a graphics software like Adobe
Freehand/CorelDraw and saving the pdf file into a jpg image, using a
suitable dpi resolution like 300dpi. Then importing this jpg image into MS
PowerPoint. The quality of the original map is maintained with this
technique.

Good luck

Katy,

Yes I've had this problem but a yet haven't found an answer. If anyone
knows of a different way, other than saving, can they post to the list.
