I am working with Census 2000 data. I have assigned all my tracts to their respective Zip codes, senate and house districts, counties, etc. Two questions I'm hoping someone can help answer for me: 1. In MapInfo Pro v6 and using the population data at the tract-level, can someone tell me how I can locate the population center of a given Zip code, senate or house district, county, etc. I figure if you can help me, say, figure the population center of a county based on tract-level data, then I could figure any other geography from there. I assume there's a way to plot a marker (star) or something where these population centers are??? 2. Can someone tell me how I can create a population density map that would let me see a gradation scale of population distribution throughout my state. I've seen these in 3-D maps, but I'm not so sure I'm that far up to speed to do that :-) Thanks, Ralph Noble [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com _______________________________________________________________________ List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MapInfo-L" in the message body.
