About This Conference:

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) announces a conference on opportunities in 
the chemicals industry in Central and Eastern Europe.  The event will focus on 
specific, defined opportunities for sales and investment in projects in Bulgaria, the 
Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.  It will feature projects in 
the chemical, petrochemical, and refinery sectors.

Detailed project information will be presented by project sponsors and/or market 
leaders from each of the six Central and Eastern Europe countries.  Projects may

About TDA:

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency assists in the creation of jobs for Americans by 
helping U.S. companies pursue overseas business opportunities.  Through the funding of 
feasibility studies, orientation visits, specialized training grants, business 
workshops, and various forms of technical assistance, TDA enables American businesses 
to compete for infrastructure and industrial projects in middle-income and developing 
countries.


Conference Highlights Include:

One-on-one Meetings:
TDA-sponsored events grant participants the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the 
decision makers of the projects announced at the event. These scheduled meetings allow 
the participant to ask specific questions on upcoming projects, and to introduce the 
company, its products and services to those key individuals who will influence the 
final decisions for those projects. These one-on-one meetings offer the participant an 
opportunity to communicate and build a relationship with potential customers from the 
international market.
As soon as the Eastern European delegate slate is finalized, early registrants will 
receive a delegate and project summary, and an early chance to sign up for these 
valuable meeting opportunities.
