I show 858 MB in Photoshop for a 250 DPI tiff @ 60" X 80" RGB. You forgot there are 1048576 bytes per megabyte. The formula would be: =((250DPI*80in)*(250DPI*60in)*(24bytes/8bytes))/1048576bytes = 858.3MB Which my 1.5 GB of RAM should be able to handle. Why limit it?
