Title: CONTOUR QUERY

Peter,

One way that comes to mind would be to add an integer column to the table and populate it with an integer representation of the contour value (999.5 becomes 9,995 for instance).

Then you could use the ‘Mod’ oprator in SQL to sift them (Select Where ‘IntegerValue’ mod 5 = 0) changing the value as required.

Cheers,

David Llewellyn.

Subject: [MI-L] CONTOUR QUERY

                Hi all,
After some help with the following .........  I have a table of contours that are at 0.5m increments and range in value from 0.00 to 999.5m - table structure : decimal. I would like a quick way to sift out contours by varying increments values ....eg: all contours at 5.0m increments ...... all at 10.0m increments.

Have tried by SQL but can't quite work it out .......

                                Many thanks

                                                           Regards
                                                                    Peter
