I have returned highway to the linear setting and mapped pedestrian area
to another tag. Now something really strange happens: Some roundabouts
are visible again - but some are still missing.
I'll return when I have done some more analysis on this. But I'd like to
ask: Which tables does osm2pgsql only use for --slim mode? They are kept
after the import and I would like to drop them so that I don't confuse
them with real data when searching for the problem.
