Hi everybody. Please let me introduce myself. My name is Robert Elsenaar and
occupied into the OSM project. Mad about hiking and registering hikingroutes on
the Dutch part of OSM. Further more I’m like to attack problems that seems to
be unsolvable. Working on one I come to you to ask for information.
Mapnik creates wonderfull maps. Mapnik 2nd generation is comming up an seems to
be still in developing state (correc t me if I’m wrong).
Making maps it’s all about the cooperation between renering software and
geodata and tags.
Studying this cooperation I was wondering if Mapnik (2nd) can render lines with
a colour structure.
Example:
A line build out of three line sections: left (red), center (green) and right
(black/dashed).
Looks simply like three line acting as one.
