Could well be something postgis 2.0 related. I've not ventured further than the current 1.5.
Anyway - why it makes this query at all if my datasource already defines SRID?
I seem to recall that it shouldn't be making those calls in that case, but either that was never actually the case in the code or there's been a regression.
