It is actual ogc standard - and it would be good to support the latest
version to integrate the service in a sdi.
it is more a "go with the time"-thing than a"its makes everything
better"-thing.
so, i dont need it, but want it ;)

Hi,
Out of curiosity, for what do you need WMS 1.3.0?

I would love to have mod_mapnik_wms for mapnik2 - I think its much
better and i didnt need so much time to set up mod_mapnik_wms as ogcserver.
And if its sometime supports wms 1.3.0 and multiple layers, it would be
the best -
and that was my opinion :)

mod_mapnik_wms works well in qgis

I am the original author of mod_mapnik_wms and I haven't looked at
Ogcserver in a while. When I created mod_mapnik_wms it was because I
found Ogcserver to have some problems that I could not fix due to lack
of Python skills, so I wrote my own think in C. I wonder if it is
worth investing more time in mod_mapnik_wms to bring it up to date and
make it work with Mapnik2 - or if meanwhile Ogcserver is good& stable
and one should really just let mod_mapnik_wms die.
Opinions?

Frederik
