Follow-up Comment #1, bug #30647 (project maposmatic):
My opinion: I agree that we could change some OSM data to make them prettier
on the map. However, after a quick glance at the proposed patch, I fear it
would risk to change data in an uncontrolled way, as we don't know all the
rules in all languages used by OSM.
One proposal would be to match on longer prefixes, e.g. L'.
