Thanks to everyone for their input. It's been very helpful.
The only reservation I have about Maptitude, is no hard copy developer
reference, other than the help.
ESRI, so far has been a pain. Sent me the wrong eval copy, and I can never
get hold of anyone. I do however like their mapobjects developer reference.
