Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html

Hi Larry:

I have some ideas/suggestions for your utility box:

1) I wish to insert a bitmap as annotation with other format, not only bmp,
i.e. jpg, png and tif.
2) I wish to have a shortcut to change the projection/coordinate system of a
map.
3) I wish to use bitmaps (better if they are jpg, png and gif's, not only bmp)
as points symbols with all the facilities of the true type fonts (scalable,
attribute dependent, etc.) This would aloud us to insert more complex symbols as
points, and with several colors, which is not possible with TT Fonts!
4) I wish to have a way to load a bunch of add-ins automatically while Mapt is
open, especially this utility box. Something like an additional Toolbox.

Thanks,

Reinaldo
