I deal with it by putting little file icons in the Maptitude directory.
Click on those and one goes to "County Maps" or wherever.
Incidentally, list users should be aware that Caliper makes Spanish and I
think Chinese versions of Maptitude. I used the Spanish version in Peru last
summer. We will again this year. I can't order tacos at Taco Bell with my
Spanish, but it was great to be able to have those folks have the software
in their own language. There was a fundamental appreciation of the awareness
that a N American company did just automatically assume that all software
had to be in English.

I thought that the target field in the shortcut properties was for
that; but it doesn't work. It does in AV.
