Philip,
After I upgraded to 4.11, the dataviews were (and printed) black. After a
while, I went into dataview properties to change to a mono-spaced font.
It was after a few trial-and-error font selections that I noticed the text
was red when placed into a layout. I thought I accidentally changed the
color while changing the fonts, but found no way to set the color to
black.
I've been putting up with the red since then, but now I really need it to
be black.
The text is black when displaying a dataview on the screen, but it is red
when I place it into a layout, and it prints red.
