I get the error printing right off the map AND printing from layout.
Generally, it occurs when I'm doing a LOT of printing, but I've had it happen
immediately after rebooting the computer, opening Maptitude, and opening a layout.
The layout in question was very complex, but I don't know if that is an issue either.
I've done a lot of monitoring of the problem, but I don't see any pattern here.
Maptitude is fast enough that reopening the program and trying again doesn't cost me
that much time...but I have had this happen as a constituent awaited a map, and that
can be awkward.
Once our caucus staff starts working under some pressure, I can see this as a real
problem.

I am using Maptitude for Redistricting.
I use a HP750C and haven't had any problem printing.
Are you printing from a layout?
