Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html
I can see the 6 places in the Excel worksheet. I format them in Excel as
numerical and with 6 decimal places. When I read them into Mapt there are
only two. Once its in Mapt if I check the format (Modify Table) I see the
format has truncated the format to 2 decimal places.

How do you know the file has 6 decimal places?
Were you told it does, or did you see six decimal places?
If you saw it, what program did you use?
