Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html
i've found that if I save any spreadsheets as dbf files and then
import, maptitude does a much better job of getting the formats
right for each of the fields. (don't forget to name your database
and tell excell where it is). In either case, like Kjartan says, the
decimals are still there but you can't see them until you tell
maptitude how many decimals to display. Converting to dbf first
should make it easier.
