Hi Chris, Your creatrive solution is fastastic to say the least but what I don't understand is why Caliper would want us to measure (physically!!!) our computer screens to come up with such a seemingly easy task? In fact, Caliper can have a variable named grid size (in square units) and do the calculations automatically. I know that it is quite a difficult task to have equal area squares when the map is essentially a spherical projection but there are easy transformations that should do the job. This is a suggestion that Maptitude may wish to pursue for its next update. Regards, Rudy B.
