On the other hand, I've been sending ARF reports to random abuse
contacts for years, and have found that it works pretty well.
Remember that by design, the first part of an ARF report is free text
for the benefit of humans who might be reading it.

I'd be OK with either "do this at your own risk", or pull it out and
save it for another document.  Telling people not to send ARF reports
to abuse addresses because it won't work flies in the face of
experience.
