Ok,
UTC (short for Co-ordinated Universal Time, or rather "Universal Time,
Co-ordinated") does make more sense to me now than GMT. As Simon Phipps
pointed
out GMT does confuse people sometimes. Unix time is almost in sync with UTC
but
UTC does seem to be used much more widely even if 'normal' users are unlikely
to
have heard of it. UTC is easy to look-up too :)
Regards from
Tom :)
