Dear MARMAM, We are looking for an author to prepare the chapter on the Common minke whale Balaenoptera acutorostrata Lacepede, 1804 for the upcoming Handbook of Marine Mammals, Second Edition (Academic Press/Elsevier). This will be in Volume 4 on baleen whales, and the draft chapter is due on 1 April 2026, about 6 months from now. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has extensive experience with this species.
