This is what I do:
- check out a fresh biomart-perl
- edit conf/settings.conf
- run the configure.pl script exactly as you indicate
- press return when asked about API installation
The output from the script is:
Do you want to install in API only mode [y/n] [n]:
Checking prerequisites ... please install the following modules:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] biomart-perl]#
So... no go.
After subsequent tampering with the configure.pl script I have come to
believe that the script is including the empty string as the name of a
required module. Why would this be??
