Yes, we do. A new BioMart release is intended to be a full re-write of the
current BioMart code. The improvements will be mostly among the lines of
better support for portal deployment, improvements to the web portal itself,
new GUI and better backend scalability. We'll be posting more details about
what it will contain closer to the date.(ETA for the new release is march)
(and yes ... as Syed mentioned in his email it will fully support j 1.6)
