exportable and importable pair is directional. In your case, ensembl's
exportable is matching importable on your side, but not vice a versa.
You need to create an exportable on your side that would have a
corresponding importable on ensembl side. That would do the trick.

I set up a small BioMart which is working fine. This needs to be

importables/exportables (ensembl_gene_id) to do that. This is
partially working fine: when I select the Ensembl dataset first the
second dataset also shows up in the browser. When I choose my mart
first the Ensembl dataset doesn't show up as second dataset.
Does anybody know what's going wrong? I copied the importables and
exportables from Ensembl so they should be fine. I don't know what
else to look into. Any help appreciated.
