Re: Waistline2
Healthy life expectancy is currently being redefined. I would like to get at least another 30 years of healthy living and die when the electrical charge of most of my cells fade. Everything we eat is inherited, rather than inherent. "Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die" feels like class ideology, although nothing wrong with being merry. ^^^^^^ CB: Life expectancy has been going up in the U.S. for a while ,no ? What do you mean redefined ? Class ideology ? Which class ? It don't feel bourgeois. ^^^^ -clip- The initial issue of over consumption and over population excites incredible discussion by the intellectual elite in the imperial centers. This elite tends to misunderstand their privilege position in the world division of labor and its expression as ideology and politics. The intellectual elite always project its more than less collective vision/ideology on the world and claims its goals are those of the most poverty stricken masses. It's "freedoms" and "rights" are said to be the aspiration of the toiling masses. 99% of the current discussion of sustainability and over population is nothing more than foul consumption ideology and industrial dialectics masked as theory. Everyone in America more than less intuitively understands that our society is attempting to retain its "way of life" at the expense of the world's people. Hunger in Africa is not the result of population mass and density but the property relations that outline the circuit of reproduction. From this flows the mode of distribution. ^^^^^^ CB: The Mark Joneses already say that hunger in Africa is due to property relations. To repeatedly lump the Mark Joneses with the bourgeois intellectuals who don't want changes in property relations is dishonest on your part. It is continuously dishonest as this has been pointed out many, many times to you. It makes your whole argument a slander. You need to acknowledge that Mark Jones was not saying the same thing as the bourgeois intellectuals on this. ^^^^^^^^ The battle for right eating based on the metabolic process of the body has been fought since the biblical Enoch is said to write the first books of man. The division of labor between the biblical Cain and Able is said to be a concise statement of the origin of division of labor.
