Some of the veteran subscribers of Thaxis may recall that Chris Sciabarra used to be a moderator of this list. He is well known as a scholar on Ayn Rand, Friedrich Hayek, and Karl Marx. He is probably one of the few libertarian scholars who is very well versed in Marxism, having done his doctorate at NYU under the leading Marxist scholar, Bertell Ollman.
Recently, Chris has recently undergone hospitalization for an excruciating bout with kidney stones and is now home where he continues to convalesce.
