Waistline2:

CB: How was the concept of antagonism deployed by the Marxists and
communists of the period of the Third International ?

How was "antagonism" employed by the CPC during the period of the
Sino-Soviet split ?

WL: See Textbook of Marxist Philosophy 1939 for the theoretical exposition.
Perhaps a month ago I wrote in detail about this. Also wrote about this on
Marxmail about 4 years ago.

^^^^^
CB: I don't have those. How about a shorter exposition here.

^^^

WL: In terms of the CPC and Chairman Mao, see his On the Correct Handling of
Contradictions Among the People.

^^^^
CB: What's your summary outline ?

^^^^^

WL: Here is a question for you. How to you articlate Marx conception of
antagonism? Why did you delete Marx and Engels concept of society moving in
class antagonism from the quote in the Communist Manifesto?

^^^^^

CB: Can't say that I did delete it, as I don't know what you are referring
to in their text. Copy it here.

^^^^

You raise several other question which I will answer in detail and have in
fact answered already in the course of this discussion.

^^^^
CB: Just recopy here where you addressed them. Label them by the question.

^^^^^

First let you answer
some questions for a change. Let's start at the two above.

1. I answer questions all the time.

How to you articlate Marx conception of antagonism?

^^^^^
CB: I pretty much follow Marx, Engels and Lenin's discussions of class
struggle, as in _The Manifesto of the Communist Party_ and other wellknown
discussions of class antagonism, irreconcilable class antagonisms , etc. ?,
the struggle between exploiting and exploited classes.

See this , for example

2. Why did you delete Marx and Engels concept of society moving in class
antagonism from the quote in the Communist Manifesto?

^^^^^
CB: I didn't delete it. I just didn't copy the whole Manifesto.

Copy what you are referring to. I don't recognize the phrase "society
moving in class antagonism" , but maybe ...where is it in the Manifesto ?
