It is worthless because it is a waste of time to even care about this conflict, since it lacks a socialist program nor it is not even an anti colonial project. Worse, it weakens the position of Iran in the region, which is the main anti imperialist force in the region. It doesn't matter what kind of atrocities are happening in Syria, and who wins what.
