What amazes me are those on the Left (at least vocal idiots on twitter)
who have somehow missed the fact the media has ignored Assad's massacres
and exclusively focused on ISIS for months. References exist, such as the recent articles on use of chlorine gas by
the Assad regime, but the overall narrative is focused on Daesh.
Yet somehow it is still supposedly a concerted campaign to smear Assad.

Exactly. So that is no argument in this case. That is actually an argument to second-guess information about crimes by ISIS, not by Assad. Yet almost none of the usual suspects do that about ISIS - on the contrary, they believe *every* accusation about ISIS and then tack on some inanity about how ISIS is part of a "US-orchestrated" conspiracy, while the US bombs them. That's a completely upside down world.

Tristan for example mentioned the massive quantities of poison gas being sprayed around by Assad according to multiple sources, and barrel bombs dropped packed with gas (I know both the imperialist media and the "anti-imperialist" left find the daily barrel bombs in and of themselves a little too ordinary).

Then there's Yarmouk - remember how a few weeks ago everybody heard of it for the first time from the imperialist media because ISIS invaded the camp, after years of regime starvation siege, shelling, barrel bombing, torture etc? Well now we have the regime again dropping barrel bombs on Yarmouk - it dropped 10 on April 28 - did anybody hear about that? Western propaganda against Assad????????
