My column today in Alternet is on the events in Kashmir. The last paragraph points the finger: Kashmiris need to be able to see a future where their own ambitions can govern their present and future. That imagination cannot be build through the scope of a rifle. It has to be built with historical generosity and an adherence to the basic norms of the UN Charter.
