Looking back now at Louis' article, 'We're still singing' must refer to 'Todavía cantamos' (<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaWkEZHzukE>), which I like rather more. My favourite Merecedes Sosa is her rendition of 'Solo le Pido a Dios', however (version here: <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIrot1Flczg&feature=PlayList&p=9C3B4CF87358F415&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=39>). I think she sang this at a solidarity concert in 1983 (?) in Managua, which I heard on a tape (album 'April in Managua' (?)) I used to have. Electrifying.
