Why doesn't everyone who might be involved in building a mass movement concentrate on what's really important - denouncing as many others involved in that movement as possible, until there's about ten people left who pass all the tests? Oh wait - that's what does happen in many parties. The issue of cavalier attitudes towards gender, race, sexuality issues on the far left is very real (one of the major reasons I left the British SWP was because of the incredibly macho culture that exists there), but some realism is called for. Mere denunciations achieve nothing other than to make the denouncers feel good at themselves in a rather self-righteous manner. How would those of you playing the moral high ground here deal with genuine anti-semitism (and it's certainly there) in amongst pro-Palestinian activists?
